Collin College students will be able to experience the conservation movement by participating in the college’s new Green Design Initiative beginning in the Fall 2008 with a new “green” associate of applied science degree..

The Green Design Initiative is a project within the college’s Interior and Architectural Design AAS program. It provides courses that are helpful to students seeking to enhance their knowledge of green design, as well as students wanting an associates’ degree in interior and architectural design with an emphasis on green and sustainable design.

Through the Green Design Initiative, students will be introduced to concepts of green design, green building and green remodeling.
